Trades Day 2025/26 is an exciting collaborative event that brings together the ACE Mentor Program of Rhode Island, Building Futures, and the RI Building and Construction Trades Council to introduce high school students to careers in construction trades.
This interactive experience will feature hands-on demonstrations to allow students to explore different trades directly with registered apprenticeship program leaders and people working in the field. Students will gain valuable insights into the diverse skills required in the trades and the rewarding careers that start with a trades registered apprenticeship, helping to inspire Rhode Island’s next generation of skilled tradespeople. Trades Day 2025/26 will be held at Building Futures’ training facility at 1 Acorn Street in Providence. Street and lot parking are available. To accommodate more students and enable maximum hands-on demonstration participation, we will hold two sessions on Friday, February 27:

11:00 am – 12:45 pm
If your school schedule allows you to accommodate either session, please note this on your registration. The organizers will then assign your school to a session as space allows.
