Registered Apprenticeship is a flexible workforce model that is adaptable to any industry in the private or public sector. Apprentices can be new hires or current employees seeking new skills and to further their careers.

Registered Apprenticeship is “earn while you learn” employment. Apprentices earn a paycheck from day one. Pay increases as they demonstrate that they have gained the occupational skills necessary for success in their chosen new career.

Building Futures’ Apprenticeship RI initiative is our partnership with RI Department of Labor and Training to maximize the effective use of Registered Apprenticeship in new industries and occupations and provide operational support to the apprenticeship system.
