Building Futures was honored to be recognized with an Innovator Award from Apprenticeships for America (AFA) at its third annual Apprenticeship summit. This national recognition is a reflection of the outstanding partnerships and people who work with us to create opportunity through registered apprenticeship, from the nearly 500 construction pre-apprenticeship graduates in the field as tradesmen and women, to the hundreds of employers who have worked with us to expand apprenticeship to new industries and occupations. We are grateful to AFA for this national recognition and share our congratulations with the other honorees – the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship, the City of Charlotte, Apprentices with InnovateEDU and HCAP, Aaron Pfau and Amber Howard, Noel Ginsburg, the founder of Careerwise, and North America’s Building Trades Unions.
