Become a Recovery Peer with Your Union Sisters & Brothers
Recovery Peers are people like you who have lived experience and have been successful in recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges. Peers use their own experience to help others in similar situations.
You understand the unique pressures and stresses of the construction industry. You will be able to help your union brothers and sisters find and sustain recovery.
Trade recovery peers go through training and work together with Building Futures’ recovery program to support their fellow union members.
