Building Futures welcomes our new Trainee & Graduate Services Coordinator, Sarah Gormley. Sarah joins us with extensive experience with CCAP and Vantage Point, Inc. For 19 years Sarah worked for CCAP within the RI Adult Correctional Institution where she ran programs for discharge services and parent supports. Sarah developed and ran Rhode Island’s first father visitation program at the ACI allowing minor children to have quality child-centered time with their fathers. She has facilitated reentry services and violence intervention programming at the ACI and in the community while with Vantage Point, Inc. Sarah also brings her experience running a youth education and employment center in West Warwick.
Sarah looks forward to working with Building Futures’ pre-apprenticeship program, a model she says is “focused on long-term success, with the opportunity to impact generational wealth and opportunity.” Welcome Sarah!
